So a while ago, I went for a tactical shoot with Dom, my tactical cosplay buddy. I’ve written this post like three times and I’m so pissed because all three times, my phone refused to upload the photos 😡 Also, see the banner? Apparently, there is so much tactical shoots done by the other team of cosplayers that they had to make this banner.
Anyway, we met up really early with another group of tactical cosplayers to shoot a group fight scene. I was just there because at that point of time, I was crafting my Guld Millas and needed the heavy machine work that only Dom’s friend had.
So as I was saying (or not), we had abit of time to ourselves because the photographer, Walk Walk See See Cosplay Photography, wanted to shoot the first group’s solo shoots first. Since we had nothing to do, we decided to have a bit of fun.
Dom was a tactical ninja (because swords and shiet) while his friend Carlos, was a tactical soldier. I’m not quite sure what to call them, cause it was my first time taking parting in a shoot like this.
And as much as I’d like to say that I know shit loads about guns and the military because my family has military background, I don’t. But at least I’m a girl posing with a gun, right…?
You would probably be wondering how anyone could go to a park that is so brightly lit and expect to take uber cool photos. I wonder as well. Before this, my life was just a normal camera and flash. I know shiet about lighting; as long as the object I want to capture in frame is in the picture, it’s all good -Which probably explains why I never get many likes on Instagram #hint
I even asked the photographer if he could do my Little Red Riding Hood #cosplans! shoot and he agreed!
So do look forward to it, I know I am!
